Job Description: Job Title: Applied AI Engineer [Level: Associate / Senior] Location: Hyderabad Department: Applied AI, Data Science, and Analytics (ADA) About the Role We are looking for a passionate and versatile professional to join our Applied AI, Data Science, and Analytics (ADA) team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building scalable, intelligent AI-driven solutions using cutting-edge technologies. You will leverage your expertise in machine learning, automation platforms like UiPath, and cloud ecosystems to solve complex business problems with measurable impact. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement machine learning and AI solutions across diverse domains such as customer insights, operations, and process automation. • Lead Intelligent Document Extraction & Processing initiatives using tools like UiPath Document Understanding, OCR engines, and NLP techniques. • Perform advanced analytics, including data exploration, statistical modeling, and feature engineering. • Build and optimize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines and generative AI workflows using LLMs. • Collaborate with automation teams to build end-to-end intelligent automation workflows using UiPath. • Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions. • Work with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) for data processing, model training, and deployment. • Engage with Azure AI, AWS Bedrock, or Google Vertex AI for integrating foundation models into enterprise solutions (experience in one or more is a plus). • Participate in AI model lifecycle management including deployment, monitoring, and retraining through MLOps best practices. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field. • 4+ years of experience in data science, applied AI, or intelligent automation. • Strong expertise in UiPath (including UiPath Document Understanding), automation workflows, and process intelligence tools. • Proficiency in Python and common data science libraries (scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, PyTorch/TensorFlow, etc.). • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform – Azure, AWS, or GCP. • Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts such as classification, regression, clustering, NLP, and generative models. • Experience with SQL and Big Data tools like Spark or Databricks. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate insights clearly. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) • Exposure to Azure AI (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services), AWS Bedrock, or Google Vertex AI for enterprise-scale AI deployments. • Experience working with LLMs, prompt engineering, vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone), and frameworks like LangChain. • Familiarity with MLOps tools (MLflow, Azure ML, SageMaker, etc.). • Understanding of Responsible AI, model fairness, and explainability (e.g., SHAP, LIME). • Prior experience in automation projects that integrate both AI/ML and RPA technologies. • Participation in open-source projects, AI research, or hackathons is a plus. • Good to have exposure in building AI Agents.
