Job Description: JOB DESCRIPTION: Position: Data Engineer Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid) Experience: 7–9 Years Employment Type: Full-time | Individual Contributor Industry: IT Services / Digital Transformation Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field Role Overview As a Data Engineer at People10, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining scalable data infrastructure. You'll play a critical role in migrating on-premise systems to AWS cloud and building the next-gen data tools for enterprise-grade analytics. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain data marts and data warehouses. • Migrate on-premise infrastructure to AWS cloud. • Design and implement scalable ETL pipelines ensuring high-performance data flow. • Apply data quality checks to maintain data accuracy and integrity. • Troubleshoot data processing and pipeline issues. • Design and build data transformation, validation, and conversion processes for BI applications. • Provide data replication services for enterprise reporting needs. • Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and translate them into scalable data models. • Optimize internal processes for improved team efficiency. Must-Have Skills • Strong hands-on SQL development • Deep understanding of database architecture • Working knowledge of AWS services: S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform or AWS CloudFormation • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills • Self-driven and outcome-focused mindset
