Position Title: Sales Engineer / Manager – Precast Batching Plants

Department: Sales – Batching Plants (Precast Segment)

Reporting To: GM Batching Plants

Location: Pune Head Office, with extensive travel across India and internationally as required.

Role Purpose: To drive sales growth in the precast segment by promoting Aquarius’s range of batching plants and solutions tailored for precast applications. The incumbent will provide technically sound solutions to clients, leveraging strong product knowledge and communication skills to maintain Aquarius’s market leadership in the precast equipment sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Identify potential precast clients and upcoming projects in India and targeted export markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with precast manufacturers, consultants, and EPC contractors.
  • Achieve targeted sales volumes and profitability.

2. Technical Solutions

  • Understand and analyse customer requirements specific to precast production.
  • Recommend suitable batching plant configurations and automation levels for precast applications.
  • Coordinate with Design & Projects teams to develop plant layouts and integration solutions.

3. Proposal & Negotiation

  • Prepare and present techno-commercial offers.
  • Conduct product demos and presentations highlighting technical superiority.
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to close orders profitably.

4. Market Intelligence

  • Track competitor activities in the precast batching plant segment.
  • Provide inputs to management on new technologies, competitor offerings, and customer pain points.

5. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Liaise with Design, Production, Projects, and Service teams to ensure timely execution of orders.
  • Support marketing activities such as exhibitions, seminars, and industry workshops.

Key Requirements:

Qualification Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, or Production Engineering

Experience 5–10 years in sales or technical support of batching plants, with exposure to precast applications.

Technical Skills Strong knowledge of batching plant design, operation, and integration with precast production systems. Ability to read plant layouts and process flows.

Sales Skills Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to engage with senior management, consultants, and technical teams.

Behavioural

Traits Self-motivated, target-driven, with willingness to travel extensively.

Desirable Skills:

· Experience with automation solutions for batching plants or integration with precast distribution systems.

· Prior exposure to international precast projects or clients.

CTC Range:

Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, structured to attract candidates with strong technical expertise and proven sales performance in the precast equipment sector. Market-competitive CTC with incentives based on sales targets will be offered.
