Job Summary:

We are looking for a driven and technically skilled Project Engineer to lead and support the execution of projects related to automated non-destructive testing (NDT) solutions. This role involves managing end-to-end project activities — from design to deployment — in close collaboration with customers, internal engineering teams, and automation partners. The ideal candidate should have experience in industrial automation, mechanical systems & project management.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage full lifecycle of NDT automation projects — including planning, design review, system integration, and customer delivery.Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, software, and application teams to develop integrated automated inspection systems. Interpret customer requirements and translate them into technical specifications and engineering deliverables. Supervise assembly, testing, and commissioning of systems at the factory and customer site.Ensure adherence to industry standards and customer-specific quality benchmarks. Conduct risk assessments and implement project control measures to ensure timely and successful execution. Prepare detailed project documentation including Gantt charts, test plans, FAT/SAT reports, and installation manuals. Interface directly with the installation team, provide technical support during installation, and ensure smooth project handover. Assist in procurement planning, and vendor management for automation components and hardware.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electronics Engineering or related field.

Experience: 4–6 years of project engineering experience, preferably in industrial automation or NDT systems.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

Knowledge of automation components such as motion controllers, actuators, PLCs, sensors, and robotics.

Exposure to CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and project tracking software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Effective communicator with ability to engage both technical and non- technical stakeholders.

Comfortable with hands-on field work and travel for site installations.

Other:

Willingness to travel domestically.

Experience : 4-5 years of project engineering experience
